Vocational Examinations

Redbridge Classical Dance Studio’s is one of the few non- vocational schools that train and enter vocational ballet students from Intermediate Foundation through to Advanced Two. These professional examinations are extremely demanding, requiring strong ballet technique as well as mature artistry and musicality. Students are introduced to Pointe work within the confines of these classes and quickly move from executing exercises to full enchainment on pointe. RCDS has an excellent success rate at all levels in these examinations, with the majority of our students attaining Merit or Distinction. Achieving at this level is not only highly rewarding for the students, but for those candidates who don’t wish to follow down the professional line it assists with University entrance and helps students to gain UCAS points.
