Redbridge Classical Dance Studios is a wonderful ballet school with great teachers and syllabus - a perfect balance of being disciplined but still fun! My daughter has been coming weekly since the age of 3 and is now 7 and a half and training for her Grade 2 exam. She adores the classes and teachers and friendships she has made. Miriam and Becky have a wonderful dance school and Zadie is proud to be part of it!

“Anastasia started ballet with RCDS when she was about 4 years old. We could not have imagined back then just how much of an influence RCDS would have in her life. A morning ballet class quickly increased to tap and modern lessons too and she now dances every night, with clear appreciation for the confidence and aptitude that RCDS has nurtured. She has had the opportunity to be a part of some amazing performances, the pinnacle of which was at Her Majesty's Theatre, and academically she has been encouraged to push herself to attain high awards in examinations. In addition to grade exams and advanced exams, RCDS taught her in GCSE and helped her attain an A grade in year 9. Now, approaching 16, Anastasia is still infatuated with dance and Rebecca and Miriam continue to support and guide her. I thank them for inspiring Anastasia. Anastasia says she feels part of the RCDS family and is very proud to have achieved so much, and would not have done it without them.”

All three of my daughters attend dance classes at Redbridge Classical Dance Studios. As they attend Wanstead Church School the ballet, tap and modern lessons are perfectly situated in Wanstead and Snaresbrook, London E11. The youngest attends Baby Bear Ballet and the eldest has achieved Distinction in her Grade 2 ballet exam. We had no idea when we moved to Wanstead how much dance would become part of our lives!

We just had to write and say how much our daughter has thrived in Miss Lindsey's ballet class at St James Church in Buckhurst Hill. At the moment dance fills her imaginative play with a variation each week of her ballet and tap class with Miss Lindsey. We are delighted to have found a school with longevity. You not only provide ballet and tap classes for young children but also are a school that offers Royal Academy of Dance ballet exams and ISTD tap and modern examinations. We hope to see our daughter on stage one day soon with your lovely dance school.

My little girl absolutely loves her ballet lessons and her wonderful teacher (Miss Lindsey). As a mum I was so pleasantly surprised when we came to our trial lesson for the baby bear class. The lesson specifically caters for very young toddlers, keeps them occupied and at the same time teaches them basic ballet principles. My little girl is looking forward joining the nursery class with the grown up girls in the new term.

The Baby Bear Ballet class with Miss Eleanor was a wonderful experience for both myself and my 3 year old daughter. Initially my daughter took her time to warm up but after only a few classes she was so proud to show Miss Eleanor her good and naughty toes. She genuinely believed she was a ballerina and would constantly role play at home. My daughter was Miss Eleanor; I would have to be Miss Taylor who was also a wonderful person and great with the girls.

I also wanted to quickly mention how much Lillian enjoys her ballet classes (they are her favourite activity that she does!) and she enjoys following through with it at home as well. She is comfortable with Miss Sarah as her teacher and I think that is a testament to how great the classes are and how engaging Miss Sarah is with the children. Lillian will most definitely miss the classes over the summer. I don't think people are told enough when they do a great job so just wanted to pass on my thanks and gratitude to Miss Sarah on behalf of Lillian.

I am so very proud of all the students not just because of all the hard work in order to achieve the incredible exam results but because I have had the privilege to watch little girls grow into composed young ladies.

“Louisa (aged 2) was desperate to start ballet as she had watched her sister go since she was born. She has been going for a term now in Snaresbrook, London E11 and loves Miss Melissa. She dances all through the week. She cannot wait to go back to classes after the holidays. Eleanor loves it too, especially the tap and modern. I asked Louisa what she thought and she said 'I like all of it, I like Miss Melissa teaching me how to dance. We point our toes and say clap, clap, clap!'”
